Album Info - Be Here Now

Welcome to the new album "Be Here Now".  This is my newest CD and it will be available July, 2010 though you may listen to it in its entirety at my site.
I wanted to share the inspiration behind this album as well as some fun facts about its creation.
The main theme of this Album is to simply be aware of the present moment and the sub-theme is to celebrate the body.

The body is here now occurring and so realize that the body is essentially an eternal door to the present moment.  And so we need to honor the body by offering it vital foods, stretching and strengthening its systems, and alertly listening because the body is always communicating with us. It is just that we are so deep in our minds and our “stories” that we are not aware of what the body is sharing with us now.  We are not directly aware of the body.  We are not "feeling" the body.  We only “think” that we have a relationship with our body and so really this is just another of the tangling relationships within our mind.
We do not have a direct experience of the body and herein is how dis-ease and lethargy are born. When we are only feeding our past through the judgments that we carry or we are focused on some possible future, our body is actually now being ignored.  And so through this Album I hope to enlighten this avoidance of the body and also our propensity to become lost in our mental stories so as to reintroduce the present moment and the miraculous body that provides this experience.  Because simply, without the body, no matter how creatively we imagine other wise, we could not experience this experience.
We can imagine having other mental bodies or dream about invisible bodies and yet when we stop and we become aware, we realize that we are here now in this body and that THIS is the gift.  We can imagine all types of invisible trees in possible invisible dimensions but that is just imagination.  Alternatley, when we reach out and hug a tree we do not have to think about what is happening and so we experience the tree directly, and this is enlightenment (so to speak).  We hug the tree directly and that is a realization of the ONE that is now appearing as what we define as a "tree".  And by the "ONE" I mean that when we hug a tree we do not need to think to directly experience the tree.  We are aware.  The mind will want to dictate and state all types of rules and definitions about trees, and yet we realize that these are only the mind.  When we hug the tree there is no mind needed, just awareness.  Now of course there are myriad sub-conscious processes that are ongoing, but we do not need to be conscious of these.  And so by simply being aware of hugging the tree we are actually aware of so much more in the process and this is what "Be Here Now" is about..
We are aware of the one flowing experience no matter what senses we employ because our senses are not tapping into separate experiences like the mind envisions, no.  Our senses are being aware of the ONE total experience that IS, no matter what the form manifested.
May this songs assist in awakening to the realization that now, this very moment is what is true.  This is about being here now and being aware of what is happening now.  This is about being aware of the love that is flowing through our senses - now.  This may seem obvious and redundant concerning understanding our life experience, but in actuality there are so many who are living in their mind’s idea of the present moment and so they are not truly flowing AS the true river of direct experience.
This album is about Being, and not WASing or MAYbeing.  So let these songs open and calm the mind so that the resonance of the body is realized and the present moment like a fragrant rose is now eternally experienced.

We are MORE than Missions

When we realize that a "mission" is our misinterpretation of the perfection of the ONE created by the limited understanding of the ego we become free of the mind's continual projections "out" into some "future", and we are now here.

Because until we accept all of our experience equally we will be in a "hell" of needing to fix things indefinitely, and this is not peace, gratitude, or non-judgment. We will always be dissatisfied with some"thing" here or some"thing" there.

There is a perfection that is not based upon duality, and when we surrender our "Mission" (holy or not), we realize this greater perfection and we break the chains.

No wave is separate of the ocean, no matter what we think; as all waves are in relationship. ♥

Either do or do not

(an older Facebook note that has recently been commented on, and so here it is)

To want for things is illusion.

There is One holy One and so what more is needed for Oneness to be One? What is there to want other than the wants created by dream characters? So, are you tired of sleeping? Do you long to awaken? Well, realize that it does not require any more, but less stories to realize the One.

No matter what the story, realize that this story that is being acted out is now occurring within the space of loving awareness that we ARE. If there is a story it is not eternity.

It is not more that reveals the One, but less. Because we are always awake even when we think that we are not.

So today, either do or do not. It is the in-between non-action of thought that is the component of illusion. We then think maybe, or if, or would, or should, then we are in-between and deep in the mind.

This experience matters only if we think that it matters. And then we believe that we are the amalgamation of these mattering thoughts and we forget our eternal awareness and we then exist in fantasy. But nothing has to be done as all is being done perfectly.

We are not really doing anything.

Love is now expressing through us.

All is arising and falling within the One, and we only think that we are doing these things because we are pretending through belief that we are not the One, but this is not true.

All is God. All is LOVE.

Do we plan for a thought to arise? No.

Do we plan to lose interest in something? No.

Do we plan our joy? No.

Do we plan on falling in love? No.

Do we plan on awakening? No. We are just experiencing the flow that is flowing through, and AS us and so let it flow and be free in joy.

We do not exist. We are thoughts in the mind of God.

We are the holy synapses experiencing this gift of existence.

Nothing needs to be worshiped or believed; for we are exactly where we are and this is perfect.
Be grateful and continually deepen into the presents of presence.

There is nothing to surrender; for how does eternity become un-eternity?

How does wholeness become more whole? This is impossible. This is the dream.

There are no distant lands that we have to visit. The heart is the true compass for realization.

Here we now are. How is this not so?

We are loving awareness that is now BEing through the human senses, so we are more than the senses - simple.

Awareness is what is animating the body and through this observation we realize that awareness is more than the body.

Let the body do what it is designed to do and be aware now. Be unlimited.

We have always been and will always be, so relax, unclench, and surrender the attempts of trying to fix perfection and enjoy what is being bestowed.
